For Kids
Storytimes -
All storytimes at the Clayton Library employ a five week Every Child Ready to Read series structure. ECRR is a research-based early literacy program that enlists caregivers as partners in preparing their children for learning to read. Storytime is more than just books, together we will Talk, Sing, Read, Write, and Play our way to early literacy confidence.
Open Play-
The two weeks between storytime series we offer Open Play programs. Open Play is an unstaffed program. Drop-In at your usual storytime day and time and enjoy the space to play and network with other caregivers and children in their age group. Books, toys, and music will be made available to encourage playtime that is vital to early childhood development.
Our storytimes and Open Play programs are currently being held on a drop-in basis. Check out our events calendar and join us soon!
