Join us as we learn letter sounds & recognition, explore shapes, & build confidence to prepare little one for the transition to school.
DROP-IN Storytime at Clayton Library!
No pre-registration, Storytimes are first come-first served (Space is limited).
Pick-Up a Drop-In Wristband (one per child) outside the meeting room before storytime. (When the wristband bucket is empty, our storytime is full for the morning.)
All storytimes at the Clayton Library employ the Every Child Ready to Read structure.
ECRR is a research-based early literacy program that enlists caregivers as partners in preparing their children for learning to read. Storytime is more than just books, together we will Talk, Sing, Read, Write, and Play our way to early literacy confidence.
Preschool Storytime is designed for children ages 3 years-5 years.
Engage with your kiddo as we prepare them for the transition to school, and we focus on more complex books. Emphasis is put on alphabet sounds and letter recognition, shapes, hands-on activities as well as independence and confidence building.
In order to keep our attendees safe, space is limited.
