FY 24 BUDGET PUBLIC HEARING

The Town of Clayton FY24 Budget Survey Results (PDF) are in and are now available online. Here are some additional details that you may find helpful:

• The survey was conducted over a period of one month and received nearly 1700 responses.
• The main focus of the survey was to gather feedback on how the town's budget should be allocated for the upcoming fiscal year.
• Respondents were asked to rank their spending priorities from a list of options, including education, infrastructure, public safety, and environmental initiatives.
• The survey also included an open-ended question to gather more detailed feedback and suggestions from residents. This data is represented based on topic in the form of a word cloud.
• Overall, the survey results provide valuable insights into the priorities and concerns of the town's residents, which will help guide the budget allocation process.

• The town council is excited to share these results with the public and looks forward to continuing to work together to ensure that the town's budget reflects the needs and priorities of its residents. The next opportunity for input on the FY24 Budget will be a public hearing on May 15.
